Fashionable Face Masks

Welcome! We have launched a Fashionable Face Mask.

The design incorporates a comfortable fit with elastic going around the back of the head, not putting pressure on the ear lobe. The mask can be expanded upwards and downwards and has a section for filter or tissue paper to be added or removed.

There are also a number of useful ways to make a face mask from different materials/design as highlighted in the Guardian Newspaper recently and CNN. 

Exotic designs have emerged in different parts of the world, notably in Kenya by the Grevy’s Zebra Trust, a Zebra themed pattern that really looks striking.

Meanwhile in the UK, we set ourselves a challenge to make fashionable face masks to raise funds for those impacted by the covid-19 situation.

After some substantial research, brain storming, design sessions, we went from this:

We managed to streamline the process to make one every 20 minutes. It takes longer than expected as the design includes a pouch for filter paper or tissue paper, and also an expandable mechanism to make the face mask larger or smaller at the front.
